Radiochemistry

Centauri Labs has expanded our analytical testing capabilities to include radiochemistry analyses with the addition of the following instrumentation:

• LB 770 10 Detector Gas-Flow Proportional Counter
• Beckman Coulter LS 6500 Liquid Scintillation Counter
• Canberra LB 4100 Liquid Scintillation Counter
• Canberra Alpha Analyzer
• Canberra High Purity, Germanium Gamma Spectroscopy System

Centauri is NELAC certified and is accepting soil, water, wipes, and bioassay samples for radiochemistry analyses, under our current Radioactive Material License MD-21-049-01.

Centauri has completed two successful rounds of the MAPEP audits and is preparing to undergo the USDOECAP audit of our facility to enable us to do work under the DOE program.

Centauri provides standard and specialty fish tissue, vegetation and sediment analyses for the following:
